In 2012, Haven From the Storm, a 501(c) (3) registered public charity, was established to support veterans, aid in their recovery, and provide assistance for their re-entry back into productive society. Funds raised through the telethon will be allocated in the following ways: to organizations providing direct services to veterans suffering from PTS and TBI, to organizations providing education and raising awareness, and to organizations engaged in scientific and medical research in the field of PTS AND TBI.
